New Single – Preview here!
Well, you may think we’ve been a little quiet of late, and you’d be right from the outsider’s point of view, but here deep inside Banana Sessions HQ we’ve been hard at work, putting in many hours in the studio and working on another single which is finally ready to share with you now. As the band have progressed we’ve found ourselves playing more high profile slots at festivals and clubs, and as we’ve taken to the stage later and later into the night at these gigs we’ve found the need to give people something to dance to even more pressing and this was an important influence in what we’ve been writing, as you’ll soon hear.
We’ve been lucky enough to work with a renowned producer from Berlin who goes by the name of Thomas Dubbel (aka T.Dub) who has been like an extra limb pressing buttons for us in the studio, working wide-eyed into the night to take the Banana Sessions into an exciting new area, fusing together more styles than ever before. Thomas is not only a renowned producer and DJ, but also a former pastry chef in a top Berlin restaurant, and when not spending hours capturing the perfect vocal take with Roberta he managed to find time to make several batches of his speciality ‘Disco Biscuits’ which seemed to have a remarkable effect of keeping the band energised, when taken with a few cups of tea.
So, without further ado, we’re pleased to be able to give you taster of our new direction exclusively here - it’s our new single, a reworking of our track A Little Share, it’s to be released later this month and we hope it moves you.

u crazy kids n ur april tomfoolery….i love it!
Is this an April fools??? Lovin’ the sound but feel there is a certain element missing! Bob where’s your lovely voice???
AWESOME!
I liked Banana Sessions because of the instraments, quirky jazzy quality and Bob’s great voice. This sounds like just one more techno piece or maybe the rest of the band went for tea and left the keyboard player to record the tune. I hope this isn’t your new direction.
But Sir, we don’t have a keyboard player…
