Do you remember your first mixtape? Remember what you called it. Remember the opening tune… Allow us to bring the nostalgia home even further by presenting you with The Banana Sessions debut album, Mixtape. Over the course of four years; things change, people change and song-writing changes. Over the course of four years, this is what The Banana Sessions have been writing.
Mixtape features a hand-picked selection of Edinburgh’s musical finest, including Martin Green & Aidan O’Rourke (Lau); Lindsey Black & Heather McLeod (The Bevvy Sisters) and Ross Ainslie (Treacherous Orchestra/Salsa Celtica), to name a few. The album was recorded between Castlesound Studios/The Depot; produced/engineered by Garry Boyle, mastered by Stuart Hamilton and concept production by Dave Hook (Stanley Odd).
